Privacy Policy

Introduction

This Privacy Policy explains how stampchan工作室 ("we", "us") handles your information when you use stampchan, our service that makes LINE sticker and emoji sets with AI. We handle personal information in line with the Act on the Protection of Personal Information of Japan and other laws that apply to us.

Information We Collect

1. Account information — your name and email address. If you sign in with Google, we receive your name, email address and profile picture from Google.
2. What you tell us when making a set — your answers in the chat (such as what kind of character, style and scene you want), the descriptions and change requests you type, and the phrases and poses in your storyboard.
3. Photos you upload — for example a photo of yourself, your pet or a drawing, used as the model for your character.
4. Results — the character sheets, stickers, emoji and ZIP files made for you.
5. Usage and billing records — the features you use, credits charged and returned, and your orders.
6. Device information — device type, operating system and browser, used for compatibility and performance.
7. Cookies — to keep you signed in and remember your settings, and, when analytics is enabled, to understand how the site is used. See our Cookie Policy.
8. Payment information — your card details are collected and processed by Stripe, not by us. We receive what we need to deliver your purchase, such as the product, amount and your account email, and never the full card number.
9. How you found us — on your first visit we note the site that linked to us, the campaign tags in the link (such as utm_source) and the page you arrived on, and keep this with your account if you sign up.
10. Moderation records — the result of each automated check on your descriptions and images. When a check refuses a description, we keep the words that were checked.

Your Photos

• We use a photo only to draw the character you asked for. We do not use it to identify anyone, and we do not create face recognition data from it.
• Before you upload a photo, we ask you to confirm that you may use it. Please upload a photo of another person only with their consent.
• The photo is sent to our AI provider (below) for the drawing and stored in your account so you can make more drawings of the same character.

How We Use This Information

• To make the sets you ask for and let you download them.
• To run, maintain and improve the service, process payments and send confirmations.
• To send account, security and service emails, such as when a set is finished, and to answer your questions.
• To understand which channels bring visitors and customers.
• To prevent fraud and abuse and to enforce our Terms of Service and Acceptable Use Policy.

We do not use your photos, descriptions or results to train AI models.

Who Receives Your Data

To run the service we send the necessary data to the providers below. They handle it under their own terms and privacy policies.

• AI drawing — Kie (kie.ai), our AI API provider, receives your descriptions, storyboard and photos and passes them to the image models that draw your character and stickers (OpenAI GPT Image, xAI Grok Image) and remove backgrounds (Recraft).
• Storyboard writing (when enabled) — a text AI model from OpenAI or Anthropic receives your character description and chosen scene to draft phrases.
• Content checks (when enabled) — Microsoft Azure AI Content Safety receives images to check them for prohibited content; Waffo Prompt Sift receives descriptions to screen them before anything is drawn.
• Hosting and storage — Cloudflare hosts the website and stores your photos and images.
• Payments — Stripe processes your payment and billing details.
• Email — Resend sends account and notification emails.
• Sign-in — Google, if you choose to sign in with Google.
• Analytics (only when enabled) — services such as Google Analytics or Microsoft Clarity, which receive usage data as described in our Cookie Policy.

We do not sell your personal information. Apart from the providers above, we share data only when the law requires it, at the lawful request of public authorities, or to protect the rights and safety of our users or ourselves.

Data Sent Outside Japan

Several providers above, including Kie, OpenAI, xAI, Recraft, Anthropic, Microsoft, Cloudflare, Stripe, Resend and Google, may process your data in the United States and other countries. The protection of personal information in those countries may differ from Japan. We choose providers that protect personal information to a standard equivalent to Japanese law and that commit to handling it appropriately, for example under their data processing terms.

How Long We Keep It

• Photos, character sheets and sets — while your account is active, so you can view and download them again. You can ask us to delete a set or a photo at any time.
• Account and billing records — while your account is active and for as long as the law requires (for example, tax records).
• Moderation records — while your account is active and afterwards for as long as needed to handle reports, appeals and legal duties.

Security

We use encryption in transit, access controls and server-only storage of service keys. No method of sending data over the internet is completely secure, but we keep working to protect your information.

Your Rights

You can ask us to disclose, correct, add to, delete, or stop using or sharing the personal information we hold about you, and to tell you how we use it. You can change some information in your account settings; for anything else, email us at the address below. We will verify your identity before acting on a request.

Children

If you are under 18, please use the service with the consent of a parent or guardian. The service is not directed at children under 13.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy. For important changes we will update the date at the top of this page and tell you in the service.
