Acceptance of Terms

stampchan (the "service") is operated by stampchan工作室 ("we", "us"). By accessing or using the service, you agree to these Terms of Service, our Acceptable Use Policy, our Privacy Policy and our Refund Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the service.

Description of Service

The service uses artificial intelligence to make sets of LINE stickers and LINE emoji from a description you write or a photo you upload.

• How a set is made. You answer a few questions in a chat; we draw a free character sheet that you can ask us to redraw; we write a storyboard of phrases and poses that you can edit; then we draw the whole set (40 images plus 8 spares) and you download it as a ZIP file in the format LINE Creators Market asks for.
• Free tools. The size converter and the APNG maker run in your browser and are free.
• AI results vary. The same request can give different results each time, and a result may contain mistakes, such as a wrong pose or misspelled text. Please check every image before you use or submit it.
• We are not LINE. The service is not made, endorsed or sponsored by LY Corporation. LINE is a trademark of LY Corporation. Submitting, reviewing and selling stickers on LINE Creators Market is between you and LY Corporation under its own terms and guidelines; we cannot guarantee that a set will pass its review.
• We may change, suspend or end any part of the service, with reasonable notice where practical.

AI Models We Use

Your images are made by third-party AI models, which we use through our API provider Kie.ai:

These models are made by their developers, not by us, and their names are trademarks of their owners; their use here does not mean those companies endorse the service. If we change a model, we will update this list.

Accounts

You need an account to save a set and to buy credits. You are responsible for keeping your sign-in details safe and for everything done with your account; tell us at once if you think someone else has used it. If you are under 18, please use the service with the consent of a parent or guardian.

Credits and Payment

• What credits are for. Drawing a set uses credits; the amount is shown before you start. Each person can draw a limited number of free character sheets per day.
• How you buy them. Credits are sold in one-time packs (for example one set, a three-set bundle, or redraw tickets) at the prices on our pricing page. Prices are in Japanese yen and include consumption tax. There are no subscriptions and nothing renews automatically.
• Validity. Purchased credits can be used for 365 days from purchase. Free credits and free character sheets may have shorter limits, which are shown in the service.
• Failed images. If an image fails because of a service error, the credits charged for it are returned to your balance automatically.
• Payment. Payments are processed by Stripe. Your card details go to Stripe's PCI-DSS certified systems and are never stored on our servers. Your bank may charge its own fees, such as for paying in a foreign currency.
• Refunds follow our Refund Policy. Seller details required by Japanese law are in our Specified Commercial Transactions Act notice.

Your Photos and Descriptions

You are responsible for the descriptions, chat answers, photos and phrases you submit ("Inputs"). You confirm that:

• you have the right to use them, for example you took the photo yourself or have permission to use it;
• if a photo shows another person, that person (or, for a child, a parent or guardian) has agreed to it being made into stickers; and
• your Inputs do not infringe anyone's copyright, trademark, privacy or publicity rights.

You allow us and the providers that work for us to process, send and store your Inputs and results, only as needed to run, maintain and protect the service.

Who Owns the Stickers

• Provided you follow these terms, the images made for you with the service ("Results") belong to you as between you and us. You may use them personally and commercially, including selling them on LINE Creators Market.
• AI results are not necessarily unique; others may get similar images. Whether AI-generated images are protected by copyright depends on the country, and we make no promise about it.
• Before you sell a set or use a Result as a logo or brand, check that it does not resemble existing characters, works or marks.
• You may not use Results or the service to train, fine-tune or otherwise develop an AI or machine-learning model.

Prohibited Uses

Our Acceptable Use Policy lists what you may not create, how we check requests and what we do about violations. In addition, you may not:

• break any law or regulation;
• make stickers of existing characters, celebrities or other people's brands without the right to do so;
• make stickers of a real person without that person's consent, or impersonate any person or organization;
• create sexual content involving minors, or intimate images of anyone without consent;
• create content that promotes hatred, harassment, violence or terrorism;
• try to get around credits, limits or security measures, access our systems without permission, or disrupt the service; or
• scrape the service, call it in bulk by automated means, or copy or reverse engineer it to build a competing product.

We may refuse requests that break these rules.

Third-Party Services

The service relies on other companies for AI models, content checks, hosting, storage, email, sign-in and payments. If one of them has an outage or changes its terms, some features may be unavailable for a while or work differently.

Suspension and Termination

If you break these terms or our Acceptable Use Policy, we may remove the content concerned, remove credits, and suspend or close your account. Where the law allows, credits removed this way are not refunded. You can stop using the service at any time, or contact us to close your account.

Disclaimer

The service and Results are provided "as is". To the extent the law allows, we do not promise that the service will be uninterrupted or error-free, that a set will pass LINE's review, or that Results suit a particular purpose or are free of third-party rights.

Limitation of Liability

To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages, or lost profits, arising from your use of or inability to use the service. Where we are liable for damage caused by our negligence, our liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the damage occurred. These limits do not apply where we acted intentionally or with gross negligence, or where the Consumer Contract Act of Japan or other mandatory law does not allow them.

Governing Law and Disputes

These terms are governed by the laws of Japan. Any dispute about the service will be heard in the courts of Japan. This does not take away mandatory consumer protection given to you by the law of the country where you live.

Changes to These Terms

We may change these terms. For important changes we will update the date at the top of this page and tell you in the service before the changes take effect. If you keep using the service after that, you accept the new terms.
